Our goal is to provide employees convenient global access to their accounts through our Internet Site and our Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) stationed in call centers located in three major regions around the world. Whether employees live in their company's home country or in other countries throughout the world, they can get information about their account at their convenience.

Global Customer Service Centers

Our global call centers on three continents service the following regions and provide worldwide coverage:

  • The European Service Center in Barcelona, Spain covers Europe, the Middle East and Africa
  • The United States Call Centers in San Antonio, Texas and Florence, Kentucky cover the Americas region
  • The Asia-Pacific Call Center in Melbourne, Australia covers the Asia-Pacific region

Our Multilingual Customer Services Representatives assist callers by providing:

  • Service to the participant in his or her local time zone
  • Service in local language by highly skilled multilingual staff
  • Service provided by culture-aware staff


Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Benefit Access Internet Site

The Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Benefit Access website provides employees access to option grants, restricted stock, or share purchases, account information, a facility to model different hypothetical transaction scenarios in the employee's local currency, as well as the ability to execute transactions. We continually enhance the site to support the needs of employees accessing their accounts around the world.

Multi-currency Proceeds Delivery

When a stock plan participant exercises and sells a stock option, sells restricted stock or sells stock purchase shares, the participant can choose to have those proceeds converted into the currency of his or her country of residence. Participants can elect to have their proceeds sent to them electronically through a wire transfer or receive the proceeds via check. The entire process is automated—from the selection of currency to the completion of the wire instructions—through Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Benefit Access or by calling a customer service representative in one of our global call centers.
